Christian education
We offer an education grounded in Christian ethics, morals and beliefs at our Neerlandia Public Christian School.

Dual credit Health Care Aide program
We offer a dual-credit health care aide program in conjunction with Nor Quest College. The program is open to high school students who are under 19 years of age as of Sept 1 and have English 10-1 or 20-2. The program is open to students across the division, however lab work takes place at Barrhead Composite High School. See the 2017-18 brochure.

Early learning
We have a specialized program for pre-schoolers (3 to 5 year-olds) who have special education needs. This play-based program helps these students develop the foundational skills they will need in Kindergarten…. and life. Our Early Learning program is available at our elementary schools in Barrhead, Westlock, Clyde and Dapp.

French immersion
Kindergarten to Grade 6 French immersion is available in our Barrhead and Westlock Elementary Schools. Students may start the program in Kindergarten or Grade 1. Students coming from other French immersion programs may enroll in the later grades. We offer Grade 7 to 9 French Immersion at our high school in Westlock.

French as a Second Language Programs (FSL)
We offer FSL at our high schools in Barrhead and Westlock. You can also take FSL courses through the Alberta Distance Learning Centre. 

Hutterite Colony Schools
We educate students living on the Pibroch and Sunny Bend Hutterite colonies.

Kindergarten is offered at nine of our community schools. French Immersion Kindergarten is available at our Barrhead and Westlock elementary schools.

Outreach programs
Grade 7 to 12 students looking for an alternative to the traditional school setting are welcome in our outreach programs in Barrhead and Westlock. We work with students to develop flexible programs that meet their individual education goals and needs.  

Virtual school
We offer distance education to students in Grades 1 to 12 who learn best at their own pace and need a flexible location. Programs are available online, in print and in a blended format. Senior high students may study full-time or part-time. Our virtual school program is an option for students with demanding extracurricular schedules or home-schooling families. We have four campuses in Barrhead, Calgary, Edmonton and Lethbridge.
