All children learn in their own unique way. Pembina Hills Regional Division No. 7 is committed to providing a learning environment that is conducive to each student's well being while challenging their potential for learning.
Alberta Learning defines students with special needs as those requiring a different program or an adaptation or modification to the regular school program. The students included in this category range from the gifted and talented to those with mild, moderate or severe disabilities, including students with emotional or behavioural disorders.
In order to provide the services for these diverse learning needs, we require many teaching and support staff. We also rely on services from several internal and external professionals covering a variety of disciplines, as well as community and school volunteers and mentors.
