The Learning Technology Services department is tasked with managing and maintaining the information technology infrastructure of the Pembina Hills School Division. These tasks include, but are not limited to:
- Installation and repair of all computer hardware (Macintosh and PC)
- Installation and troubleshooting of all computer software (Macintosh and PC)
- Management of district Wide Area Network (via the Alberta SuperNet)
- Management of individual school Local Area Networks
- Management and maintenance of disctrict-wide Voice Over IP telephony system
- Management and maintenance of district video conferencing systems
- Providing technical expertise to school administrators, division trustees, and Pembina Hills technical committees
- Staffing of the division-wide helpdesk
- Staff training
- Building Help Documentation for staff
- Maintenance of Pembina Hills district web site
