Board asks govt. for funds to update BCHS and WES buildings

At their March 8 meeting the school board determined it will ask the province for $33.92 M to renovate and right-size Barrhead Composite High School and $8.8 M to modernize École Westlock Elementary School. 

The school board discussed the effects of the government proposal to reduce school fees, and voted in favor of giving the former W.R. Frose School grounds to the PACO Ag Society, pending ministerial approval.
